The 2026 Outstanding Paper Award Ceremony of the Urban Gas magazine was held on April 29, 2026, in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. The ceremony was chaired by Yan Yijian, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the editorial board of Urban Gas magazine and Deputy General Manager of Hangzhou Gas Group Co., Ltd., and attended by Li Changying, President and Editor-in-Chief of Urban Gas magazine. More than 400 industry leaders, experts, and colleagues gathered at the event to witness this moment of honor.
The current call for outstanding papers has successfully concluded thanks to the strong support of a wide range of authors and industry colleagues. The initiative received a total of 156 high-quality submissions, covering eight major areas: gas infrastructure construction, equipment and facilities, production and operations, business management, digital and intelligent gas systems, safety management, low-carbon transformation, and standardized management. These contributions collectively showcase the latest achievements and practical experiences in technological innovation, management upgrading, and green development, thereby providing robust academic support for advancing the high-quality development of the gas industry.
At the ceremony, certificates for the first-, second-, and third-place winners were presented in sequence. Leaders and experts—including Dong Jie, Chairman of Beijing Gas & Heating Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd.; Yao Xiucheng, Deputy General Manager of Zibo Lvbo Gas Co., Ltd.; Chen Yiheng, General Manager of Shenzhen Youxunda Technology Co., Ltd.; Hu Yunhua, Deputy General Manager of Chengdu Qianjia Technology Co., Ltd.; Wang Wenhua, Chief Engineer of Zibo Lvneng Gas Engineering Co., Ltd.; Han Peng, Director of Digital Intelligence at China Gas Holdings Limited; Xu Fazhong, Deputy General Manager of Huzhou Gas Co., Ltd.; Professor Tian Guansan of Shandong Jianzhu University; Professor Jiao Wenling of Harbin Institute of Technology; Professor Yu Jianjun, Secretary-General of the Tianjin Gas Industry Association and Professor at Tianjin Urban Construction University; Professor Hao Xuejun of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture; and Professor Huang Xiaomei of Chongqing University—presented honorary certificates to the authors and representatives of the winning papers.
