Under livelihood orientation, the construction of “good house” has risen to a national housing strategy, and urban gas supply faces a critical window period for transforming from traditional infrastructure guarantee to high-quality life services. On the basis of defining the core connotations of “good house” and “good gas”, this paper analyzed the internal logic of their coordinated development. Based on the practical experience of the “smart kitchen” project of Shandong Towngas Group Co., Ltd., this paper discussed the practical problems existing in current urban gas supply in aspects of pipeline network aging, safety control, energy efficiency management, and service adaptation. Furthermore, this paper proposed optimization paths for the quality and efficiency enhancement of gas supply from four dimensions, which provides theoretical support and practical reference for the urban gas industry to integrate into the new pattern of high-quality housing development.
